Yes, You can set up your hub and the camera using your mobile phone. All you need to do is to: - Download TeCare Mobile app - Plug your TeCare hub to a plug. - Set the camera to view the area you are monitoring using your mobile And your your TeCare hub is ready to go. It is important to note that camera is attached to TeCare hub and you will need to place the hub at an elevated place with power access. Unless you have a power point then you might need to use extension cable or talk to a certified electrician to set up a power point for you.
Yes, TeCare hub uses your home network wifi. It is easy to connect TeCare hub to your home WiFi network using TeCare mobile application. If you do not have home WiFi then please contact a computer specialist or TeCare support. Additional cost might occur for setting up your home WiFi network.

TeCare is very serious about privacy and security. First of all, all the processing is done on the TeCare hub before minimal data is generated from camera images and sensors.That is, TeCare hub does not upload your images or videos to cloud. This data contains: - if there is an occurrence of fall, - encrypted face data for people at home.These information is further encrypted using https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Transport_Layer_Security#TLS_1.2 before it is sent to our servers. Once they are in our servers they are encrypted at rest. We also have strict roles base access which guaranties only the registered devices (mobile, tablet, computer) can access the data that is uploaded to cloud. On the other hand, devices that can access your WiFi network can access data in TeCare hub including images. It is your responsibility to keep your WiFi password safe.
